52 Week Project | Think Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness)
Posted on October 28, 2011
This has been a very emotional week for my family. My cousin Katie has become very ill and is in critical condition with ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) at the Medical Center in Omaha. We are all praying for her recovery. She has a long road ahead of her, so if you have any time, please say a prayer!
It’s hard to believe that the year is going so fast. I contemplated skipping this week because of Katie, but I decided that this week’s theme was very important to me and near to my heart.
My Grandma Micki is a breast cancer survivor. She has been cancer free for 12 years. I’m so proud of her for beating the disease and I thank God everyday for allowing her to be part of my life. Cancer is a horrible disease, and I pray that a cure is found.
Here is my little Charlee (featuring Grandma Micki, cancer survivor).
Don’t forget to follow the blog circle this week. I’m so anxious to see what the other photographers came up with. Laurie Vengoechea | Temecula CA Photographer is up next. She is so great! I love her blog and I’m sure you will too!
